Ballet: For 3 to 6 years – 30 minutes, From test 1 to Grade 5, - 45 minutes, seniors dance 2 to 3 times a week with classes being 60 to 90 minutes.
Jazz and Modern: 45 minutes, more classes when needed
Extra time may be added for exam and eisteddfod preparations

Exams are formal and performed in the studio, with an external examiner from another province, or even overseas. Examinations are danced in basic dance uniform.
Eisteddfods are competitions, on stage with one or more adjudicators, and are performed in carefully chosen costumes

Examination entry fees for ballet, these also include pianist fees
Eisteddfod entry fees and costume costs; for solo dances, a choreography fee may be charged.

No, we do not charge a registration fee.

At the first class, or before, a set of forms, including a Terms and Conditions agreement, will be provided. This must be completed at the end of the first class.

EFT or Card Machine is best, cash is accepted but not preferred.

The standard uniform is available at Dance shops, a list in the relevant areas can be provided. There are also online options but be aware that fitting can be difficult. Pointe shoes must NEVER be bought online. Please check before purchasing shoes from certain suppliers.

For Ballet: Beginners under 7 years, Leotard, shoes and a simple ballet skirt. Socks or tights are optional. We do not dictate colour, but keep choices simple.
Modern and jazz: a tight fitting top and leggings, or leotard and leggings. Bare feet.
Boys: Tight top, or boy’s leotard, and leggings or cycle shorts. Ballet shoes and socks, or bare feet for modern and jazz
In winter, a fitted jersey may be worn, no jackets or hoodies. Senior dancers may wear sweats till sufficiently warmed.

No Examinations are formal and no watching is allowed. A report and certificate is supplied a few weeks after the examinations, and is accepted internationally
Eisteddfods are performances and audiences are welcomed. A report and certificate or medal is awarded.
